Marcin and Ela are currently in Paris.
I decided to send him a quick SMS to see how it was going. The following is the resulting conversation.

Marcin: You're not wrong about Paris being fucking expensive. €12 for two McDonalds meals (too tired after Louvre for thinking about real food - also this was the 'cheap' option)

Just a quick note for fans of Marcin's "Don't blink or you'll miss it" travel journal, which I'll force him at gun-point to update when he gets here.

Also a Gallery has been set up to view any photos he may care to post at any stage. For now it's empty, as he hasn't had a chance to do any uploading. However, hopefully he will have a wonderful array of sordid photos from drunken meetings with families-in-law when he gets to Kraków. On Thursday! WOO!
[M: Actually I probably won't be posting in the gallery because that involves manually creating thumbs and uploading via FTP, then running some script which I don't remember the location of to add things to the gallery. One of those things that needs to be rewritten :)]
